MAY 2026 | We’re proud to share that Blackstone Honey Bee Farms has officially passed inspection by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the health of our honey bees, hives and beekeeping equipment.
Why does this matter?
A Certificate of Health means our colonies were inspected for signs of disease, harmful pests and overall hive condition—helping protect not only our bees, but neighboring pollinators and local agriculture as well.
Healthy bees are essential to a healthy environment. They support crops, gardens, wildlife and food production throughout our communities. This inspection reflects our commitment to responsible beekeeping, proper hive management, and maintaining strong, thriving colonies.
For us, it’s about more than honey. It’s about stewardship, sustainability and caring for the tiny pollinators that play such a big role in our world.
Thank you for supporting local beekeeping and local agriculture.
